Servus! We are a family of four who adore nature and everything connected to it. Birds, crickets and frogs, the murmur of streams, the sound of waves, or the rustling of leaves. All natural sounds bring us peace, and we admit — we cannot live without them… nor do we want to! We don’t like ceilings (roofs). Between us and the sky there should only be air. That’s when we’re happiest. We love all seasons and all weather conditions. Whether it’s the seashore, mountains, valleys, plains, or riverbanks — it makes no difference to us. The goal is to escape civilization and, in silence, hear our own thoughts for a moment. Mobile phones on silent, of course.

Let’s start from the beginning. My husband (Tomislav) and I (Vesna) were born on Zagreb’s asphalt, in the tram zone, where the only green oases were parks. My husband grew up near the Črnomerec stream, while I at least had the beautiful Maksimir Park at my disposal. Our generation spent childhood on bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, and of course, up in the treetops. Mostly, it all came down to this: after school and homework, time was spent outside with friends. And school holidays — well, those were something else. We spent our days outdoors from morning till night. As night fell, our mothers would call us from balconies and windows to come home, and we’d all answer the same: “Mom, can I stay just five more minutes?” Unforgettable, irreplaceable…

We have two sons, and they were the reason we decided to move out of the city center of Zagreb and start a new life near the city. A house with a yard was the logical choice. From the very beginning of parenthood, our mission was to instill in them a love for nature, to encourage them to spend as much time outdoors as possible, to make them think about nature — and especially to protect it.

Camping has always been a way for us to stay in close contact with nature. Whether we go exploring new places, cities, or simply into the wilderness, the foundation is always simplicity. The ideal tool for us is a camper. In it, we have everything, and it’s always ready to go. All it takes is for one of us to say, “We could go…” and the other to reply, “Let’s go…!” With this camper, we’ve had countless unforgettable short trips with the kids, sometimes just the two of us, and when stress builds up, I often just take my bike, the camper, and go… somewhere. That’s our perfect escape from everyday life.

But we didn’t want to keep all of these beautiful moments and memories just for ourselves. We decided to share this experience with anyone who feels the same way we do. That’s why we started this idea of renting out our camper.
